Although Steve grew up on the south side of Chicago, it was the acoustic guitar of his father playing country and western tunes around the house that was an early musical influence on him. Add to that the folk, rock and blues music of the 60's and 70's that further shaped his tastes and are now an integral part of any Union West show. Cindy is a Florida girl, having been born and raised in Miami. As a teenager, she sang with a travelling church musical ensemble. Her wide ranging taste in music makes her song selection for Union West's shows varied and engaging.
